Ramseur Records is an independent folk and roots music record label based in Concord, N.C. The label was founded in July 2000 by Dolph Ramseur and has become one of the most respected indie folk labels on the national scene. You may have heard of The Avett Brothers?

There’s a story behind the dog, but you’ll have to get that from Dolph. Taken from several source photos, we sketched the Spanish Mastiff out, then illustrated in ink, scanned him and designed the rest of the elements to achieve the feel the client was after.
