Band Logo Design Completed for As-Is Ensemble.
We recently worked along with Michael Bellar and the As-Is Ensemble to create the band’s new logo design. These guys create some amazing soundscapes, and turn their creations into something yet more innovative. From the band’s biography page: “This highly excitable, alt-jazz group has opened for John Scofield, Tea Leaf Green, Medeski Martin and Wood, Oliver Wood (of the Wood Brothers) and JFJO.”
We wanted the new logo to reflect the importance of sound, creativity and power for the band. Michael had a pretty specific vision, so after several creative directions, we narrowed the focus down with his help to what you see here. Make sure to look through the photo gallery below to see the evolution of phases on this one. A prime example of collaboration with a very creative client with a specific vision. Everybody’s happy on this one!
