Pfield Trip to the studio Day!
Pfahlert Creative had a visitor to the studio – our young friend Bella came by for a summer “field trip”.
A budding artist herself, she got to experience first hand linocut printing, from choosing her design, to cutting it out of the linoleum and applying the Speedball ink and then carefully peeling back the paper to reveal her new artwork. Tadah! Bella then got to go to downstairs to the photography studio where she learned about lighting and seamless backgrounds. She put her newly learned skills to use, snapping away at her subject, moving items around, trying to get overhead shots, closeups and the best lighting.
We love seeing creativity in young folks and their interest in art and design. A good day’s work Bella, come again!
The finished artwork, great job Bella!
